Biography of CAMERON TAIHI WILLIAMS

Cameron Taihi Williams, better known as "Tai," was born on April 15, 1972 to the late James Cameron Williams and his surviving mother, Janice Williams.  He was the oldest of five boys.

Tai attended the D.C. public school system and graduated from Coolidge High School in 1991.  He also attended the University of the District of Columbia.

Tai was formerly employed at ACS, Affiliated Computer Services for several years.  He was recently employed with MBS at the American Chemical Society.

An avid sports fan, it was not unusual for Tai to attend several sports events within days of each other.  He emailed pictures to his friends that showed him at various games.  He frequently treated his friends to attend game events with him.  Tai loved music.  He kept his friends abreast of all the happenings in the music world.

Tai was suddenly called away from us on Monday, June 22nd when the Metro train he was riding to work collided with another train.

After the death of his aunt and uncle 3 years ago, Tai moved in with his grandmother so that she would have a "man in the house."  He loved her and wanted to make sure that she was protected and cared for.

Tai was preceded in death by his father, James Cameron Williams.  He leaves to cherish his memory:  his mother, Janice Williams of Washington, D.C., his brothers from D.C., Eric Williams and Aaron Williams, Kevin Williams and Isaiah Williams, his maternal grandmother, Hazel Brooks, and his paternal grandmother, Ella Mae Williams, and his aunt, Shirley Williams.  Tai has one niece, Raenell Williams, and one nephew, Eric Williams.  His mother and brothers, aunt and uncle, grandmothers, niece and nephew, cousins and friends will keep Tai in their hearts forever.
